Fire Academy – These 5 guys hailing from the US playing a super-duper-good blend of oldschool screamo, 90ties emo and this new modern screamo bands (awesome Interskramz label) .
“Lack Thereof” is very rough but yet melodic and my absolute favourite.
“we’ve heard the people around us lose themselves.
Drawn so deep by the want of flesh.
I watched this family tree burn.
It burned so bright.”
The second song “Navigator” is blurring the lines between the genres. Begins very calm, ends up in a burst and offers some high emotional weight.

Last but not least “Haunting Noir”. Love the beginning, the bass and guitar lines. Good song.

The “Demo” was recorded in the living room of their bassist/vocalist Alex in July 2012. Oh and they are going to release a split with Gas up Yr Hearse later this year.
Nicely done for such a relatively new band.
