Manbearpig – Wow. Just wow.

Well to be honest at first I was kinda unimpressed but after some spins I was completely in love. I mean…completely. Its so fucked up and sad that they have already disbanded. (They broke up in August this year.) damn.

Manbearpig was a 3 piece band from Norwich, UK and they played an energetic and powerful version of emo meets soft-modern-hardcore-punk. I wish every band would be that enthusiastic and thrilling. Probably a killer-band live in a basement or somewhere. Oh and his accent is just amazing hahaa.

This release is their Discography and it contains songs from their “Ruined Emo” – EP, “Far Away Friends” and an acoustic song.

Opening track for the Discography is “Balance” from the “Ruined Emo” – EP. Starts very fast and they only thing I wanted to is moshing and singing through my whole room because this song is so great. “We were making history, you were just making a mess”

“Allardyce” – Same here. Especially digging the lyrics and the drumming. “there’s nothing to it“!

“Hey man, i saw your sister at a party,
she’s turning out exactly how you never wanted to be,
she’s shaky and far too proud of the fucked up kids she gets connected to

and can you tell her she won’t find anything in the bottom of that bottle she hasn’t found a thousand times before”

Third one is “White On Gold” – “and it’s boring to see you like this, strung out and bust up“…At this moment…hopefully you’ll be in love too…modern emo how it should be.

My favourite track is “Things I’m Never Getting Back” also from the “Ruined Emo” – EP. Rad song!

“Everything dies, and that’s a fact
but i know everything that dies,

and is it really worth it?
getting angsty over a phone call?
there are some things I’m never getting back”

Oh man before I repeat myself too often hahaha…ehm…”Ebb And Flow”, “Ray Brower”, “Tongues” and the acoustic track “Clean” are also more than awesome songs.

I don’t know a single reason why you shouldn’t check them out.
