Stoked for this post because it's about a record that was never official fully released and nowhere to find - "Circles And Squares" by Collin Kramer.

They were a short-lived five piece heavy screamo band from Mohnheim, Germany around 2003 till 2006. 

I remember finding them through myspace back then - they had two releases of which one was a split with Eyston. And as you can see on the picture they were on tour with some awesome bands like Belle Epoque - so it seems they def made the best out of the short time.

Keratin

So hyped for this. Keratin is a new five screamo/emotive hardcore band from Melbourne, Australia with ex-/members of Gil Cerrone, To The North, Quiet Steps, Hraun, Septic Surge, and Stress Waves. 

"Survive snake" is track number four from the debut EP "Only Eye" that is gonna be released by Tomb Tree on December 5th. The track is so beautiful, cathartic and heavy at the same time - it's just stunning - also how they blend together 90's, early 2000's and today's screamo elements. Can't wait to hear the full EP - and hope you enjoy the song as much as I do.

Everything was recorded mid - late 2022 by Simon Maisch at a storage shed in Brunswick, Melbourne and mastered by James Plotkin (Plotkin Works). 

CAGES

"Sad songs for almost happy people"

CAGES is a new five piece screamo/emotive hardcore band from Ludwigsburg, Germany - and I'm so thrilled to make an exclusive full stream of their debut EP called "Second Thoughts". The members played in some of my fav diy bands - We Had A Deal, Rêche and Schönleben - so it's kinda a diy-supergroup.

"Second Thoughts" is a thriving ode to diy and punk - raw, highly emotional and heartfelt. They took the best ingredients from the decades and put them in these five amazing songs. Everything was mastered by scene legend Will Killingsworth at Dead Air Studios and released by these lovely labels - Through Love Rec., Middle-Man Rec., Shove Rec. and Long Legs Long Arms Distr. 

schwarzer.rand did again a brilliant job on the artwork and the vinyl packaging - check the website for more - just love everything he does.
